Why Paper Quality Matters:
| Problem | Caused By | Our Paper |
| Print head damage: |
Cheap imported paper creates dust & chemical residue that coats the thermal print head |
American made 48gsm paper — clean printing, no residue |
| Faded receipts: | Thin thermal coating on low-quality paper | Consistent thermal coating for crisp, dark printing |
| Paper jams: | Inconsistent paper thickness, poorly wound rolls | Precision wound, consistent thickness throughout |
| BPA exposure: | Imported paper may contain BPA or BPS | 100% BPA-free — safe for employees who handle receipts daily |
| Running out mid-rush: | No end-of-roll warning | Red indicator stripe warns you before the roll ends |
American Made — Why It Matters:
All TerminalDepot thermal paper is manufactured in the United States. Not imported. American made paper is produced under strict quality control standards, ensuring consistent thickness, proper thermal coating, and clean edges that prevent jams. Imported paper varies widely in quality — some batches print fine, others damage your print head or fade within weeks.
How to Choose Your Quantity:
| Business Type | Typical Usage | Recommended Package |
| Small retail / single register | 1-2 rolls per week | 12 rolls (6-12 week supply) |
| Restaurant / busy retail | 3-5 rolls per week | 24 rolls (5-8 week supply) |
| Multi-location / high volume | 5+ rolls per week | 50-roll case (best per-roll price) |
| Just need a few | Light usage | 6 rolls (starter pack) |
Installation:
- Press the cover release lever on your TSP100III to open the printer cover
- Remove the empty paper core from the paper bay
- Place new roll into the bay with paper feeding from the bottom of the roll (thermal side facing up)
- Pull a small amount of paper over the front edge
- Close the cover firmly until it clicks shut
- Printer will auto-feed and cut — ready to print
Tip: Not sure which side is the thermal side? Scratch the paper with your fingernail. The side that leaves a dark mark is the thermal (print) side — that side faces up.
Storage Tips:
- Store in a cool, dry location below 77°F (25°C)
- Keep away from direct sunlight and fluorescent lighting
- Avoid contact with plastic wrap, PVC folders, and hand sanitizer
- Keep in original packaging until ready to use
- Properly stored thermal paper lasts 5-7 years

Works great, fit perfectly!
Was running out and needed paper shipped out the same day. Placed my order by early afternoon, and received it the next day. I was so worried I would be out of receipt paper for the weekend. Paper fit, and worked perfectly in my Star printer.
