▶ How to Load Paper in the Verifone T650p

1. Grip both sides of the paper door at the upper corner of the T650p and pull it outward to open.

2. Take out the empty core or any partial roll left in the tray.

3. Peel back the glued leading edge and unwind the paper past any glue.

4. Set the roll in the tray so the paper comes off the bottom of the roll.

5. Pull a few inches of paper past the door and line it up with the paper guides.

6. Hold the paper up and swing the door shut until it clicks, with the paper sticking out.

Tip: a blank first receipt means the roll sits upside down in the tray. Flip it so the paper comes off the bottom.

▶ Troubleshooting Receipts on the T650p

• Blank receipt: the roll is loaded backwards. Reload it so the paper leaves from the bottom of the roll.

• Faint or light gray print on a fresh roll: the print head is dirty from earlier paper. Power off and wipe the head with rubbing alcohol on a lint-free cloth or a cotton ball.

• Paper door won't latch: the paper isn't sitting in the guides, or the roll is larger than 40mm across. Reseat the paper and check the roll size.

• Out of paper message: the T650p always shows one when the roll runs out. Load a new roll and close the door.
