Description

Coreless Thermal Paper Rolls for the Dejavoo QD2 - 2 1/4 x 75 ft BPA-Free American Made

Coreless thermal paper puts 50 percent more receipt paper in your Dejavoo QD2 without a bigger roll. A standard 50 ft roll gives up its center to a core; these 2 1/4 in (58mm) x 75 ft rolls fill that space with paper instead and finish at 38.9mm across, inside the QD2's 40mm roll limit. Fewer roll changes in the middle of a shift, and every roll drops in, feeds clean, and prints sharp.

No ink. No ribbon. No faded or half-printed receipts - a clean, dark image edge to edge on every ticket. Just consistent, USA-made thermal stock your terminal can run all day.

Key Features

  • ✅ 75 ft per roll - 50 percent more paper than a standard 50 ft roll, so you change rolls a third less often
  • ✅ Finished at 38.9mm across - inside the QD2's 40mm roll limit, so the cover closes on a full roll
  • ✅ No core - when a roll runs out there is no empty core to fish out and throw away
  • ✅ BPA-free coating protects the hands that touch receipts all day - yours, your staff's, and your customers'
  • ✅ End-of-roll indicator shows up before the roll runs dry in the middle of a payment
  • ✅ Made in the United States - the same roll, the same fit, every case

▶ How to Load Coreless Paper in Your Dejavoo QD2

  1. Open the printer cover at the top of the QD2.
  2. Remove whatever is left of the old roll. With coreless paper there is no core to pull out.
  3. Drop the new roll in with the shiny thermal side facing the print head, and pull a few inches of paper out past the cover edge.
  4. Press the cover closed and print a test receipt to confirm the feed.

Tip: if the paper feeds but the receipt comes out blank, the roll went in backwards. Flip it so the shiny side faces the print head.

▶ Which Roll Sizes Fit the Dejavoo QD2

The QD2's printer takes 58mm (2 1/4 in) paper with a 40mm maximum roll diameter.

✅ 2 1/4 in x 75 ft coreless (this product) - 38.9mm across, inside the 40mm limit. The most paper the compartment holds.

✅ 2 1/4 in x 50 ft with core - 37mm across. See Dejavoo QD2 Thermal Paper Rolls, sold in packs from 6 rolls to a 50-roll case.

❌ 2 1/4 in x 85 ft - about 1.77 in (45mm) across, over the 40mm limit. The cover will not close.

❌ 2 1/4 in x 230 ft register rolls - far too large for a handheld terminal.

❌ 3 1/8 in (80mm) of any length - too wide for the QD2's 58mm printer.

▶ Troubleshooting: Blank or Faded Receipts

• Blank receipt, paper feeds: the roll is in backwards. Flip it so the shiny thermal side faces the print head.

• Faded or gray print: the roll is bond paper, or thermal paper that was stored somewhere hot. The QD2 has no ribbon; only thermal stock prints.

• Cover will not close: the roll is wider than 40mm across. Check you have 75 ft coreless or 50 ft cored rolls, not 85 ft.

• Paper jam: reload the roll and check the paper has no crease, and confirm the print roller is seated in the cover.

▶ Why Coreless Paper

On a handheld terminal the paper compartment is the limit, not the price of the roll. A core takes up the center of that space and prints nothing. Winding the paper without one puts 75 ft where a cored roll fits 50 ft, so a QD2 working the floor or the curb goes a third longer between roll changes. For a server running tables or a vendor at a busy event, that is one less stop in the middle of a sale.

▶ Why American-Made Paper

The paper roll is the cheapest part of a payment terminal and the most common reason one stops printing: a roll wound too fat for the cover, a coating that prints gray, a roll that comes up short. These rolls are made in the United States to one specification, so the roll at the bottom of the case matches the roll at the top. You load it the same way every time and the receipt looks the same every time.

▶ Storage

Thermal coating reacts to heat and light. Keep the case out of direct sun and away from grills, heaters, and vehicle dashboards. Stored in the original packaging at normal room temperature, the rolls keep full print quality for 5 years or more.

▶ Compatible Terminals

• Dejavoo QD2 - every connectivity version (4G, WiFi)
