Description

Dejavoo M3, M5 and M8 Paper Size: 2 1/4 x 50 ft Thermal Rolls

All three Dejavoo M series terminals, the M3, M5 and M8, print on the same paper: 2 1/4 in (58mm) wide thermal rolls, 50 ft long, on a 1/2 in core. That is the roll on this page. The M series are wireless terminals, so they are usually the ones carried away from the counter, and a blank roll out there means a card sale finishes with no receipt to hand over.

Every roll is coated BPA-free and made in the USA to one specification. A 6-pack and a 50-roll case hold the exact same roll, so a mixed fleet of M3, M5 and M8 terminals runs on one order.

Key Features

  • ✅ One roll for the whole M series: Dejavoo M3, M5 and M8, 2 1/4 in (58mm) wide, 50 ft long, 1/2 in core
  • ✅ Heat does the printing, so there is no ink or ribbon to buy, and slips stay dark and sharp down to the last foot
  • ✅ A red warning shows on the paper as the roll runs low, giving you time to swap it before the next sale
  • ✅ Coated BPA-free, so the people tearing off slips all day are not handling BPA
  • ✅ Made in the USA to one spec, the same roll in every pack size
  • ✅ Packs of 6, 12, 18 or 24 rolls, or a 50-roll case for busy locations

▶ Which Side of the Paper Faces the Print Head?

Only one side of thermal paper takes an image. Paper that advances through an M series terminal without printing a word was loaded the wrong way around.

• Quick test: drag a fingernail across the paper. The side that turns gray is the printing side.

• Load the roll so that gray-marking side faces the print head, pull a short tail out past the tear bar, and close the cover firmly.

▶ How Many Rolls Should I Order?

• 6 rolls: a spare stash for a single terminal that runs a handful of sales a day

• 12 rolls: one terminal kept stocked between orders

• 18 rolls: a steadier shop, or two terminals sharing one supply

• 24 rolls: busy counters and multi-terminal stores

• 50-roll case: the lowest cost per roll, for high volume or several locations

Not sure? Start with 12. Every pack holds the same 2 1/4 x 50 ft roll, so you can move up to a case later with no fit questions.

▶ Troubleshooting Dejavoo M3, M5 and M8 Printing

• Paper advances but nothing prints: turn the roll around so the coated side meets the print head.

• Light gray or patchy print on a fresh roll: the print head is dirty, usually from residue left by earlier paper. Wipe the head with rubbing alcohol on a lint-free rag or a cotton ball and let it dry.

• Paper jams or feeds crooked: open the cover, reseat the roll so it sits flat in the bay, tear the leading edge straight, and close the cover again.

▶ What BPA-Free Means for Your Staff

Thermal paper is coated with a developer that reacts to heat. Our rolls use a BPA-free coating, which matters most to the people who tear, fold and hand over receipts for hours at a time.

▶ Made in the USA

These rolls are coated and converted in the United States to a single specification. Width, length and core size match from one case to the next, which is why the roll that fits your terminal today fits the next order too.

▶ Storing Spare Rolls

• Keep spare rolls in a cool, dry, dark place, away from heaters, sunny windows and a hot car dashboard.

• Heat and direct light can darken unused thermal paper before it ever reaches the printer.

• Keep rolls away from cleaning chemicals, hand sanitizer and vinyl, which can react with the coating.
