▶ How to Replace the Ribbon

1. Turn off the register and open the printer cover.
2. Grasp the old ribbon cartridge and pull straight up to remove it.
3. Unpack the new ERC-32 ribbon. Turn the knob clockwise to take up any slack in the ribbon.
4. Lower the new cartridge into position, aligning the guides on each side.
5. Press down firmly until the cartridge clicks into place.
6. Close the printer cover, power on, and run a test receipt to confirm ink transfer.

Replace the ribbon when you notice any of these signs:
- Receipts are fading or becoming difficult to read
- Print is noticeably lighter on one side than the other
