▶ How to Load Paper in Your AXIUM DX8000

1. Open the paper compartment cover on top of the DX8000 by sliding the release latch.
2. Remove the empty core and any leftover paper.
3. Drop in a new roll so paper feeds from the bottom, unwinding toward the front of the terminal.
4. Pull a couple inches of paper past the cutter edge and close the compartment cover until it clicks.

Tip: blank receipts after loading usually mean the roll went in backwards. Reopen the compartment and flip the roll around.

• Blank receipt printing: the roll is loaded backwards. Reopen the compartment and flip it around.
• Faded or light printing: confirm you are using thermal paper, not bond. Bond paper will not print at all on a thermal head, and worn thermal paper prints faded.
• Cover will not close or paper jams on load: double check the roll is 2 1/4 in (58mm) with a 1.45 in OD. A wider or thicker roll will not seat properly in the DX8000's compartment.
