▶ How to Load the Roll

Drop the coreless roll into the paper well so the paper feeds from the bottom up and over the print head. Because the roll has no core, the loose end should come off the underside. If receipts print blank, the roll is in backwards: flip it so the coated side faces the print head. To check the coated side, scratch the paper with a fingernail and the side that leaves a dark mark is the thermal side.
