▶ How to Load Paper in Your VeriFone V660p

1. Locate the paper compartment release on the top or rear of the V660p
2. Open the paper cover fully
3. Remove any remaining paper or the old core
4. Place the new roll into the compartment with paper feeding from the bottom (thermal side facing up toward the print head)
5. Pull a few inches of paper past the tear bar
6. Close the cover firmly until it clicks into place

Tip: if the receipt prints blank, the roll is loaded backwards. Flip it over so the thermal side faces the print head.

▶ Troubleshooting: Blank or Faded Receipts

• Blank receipts: The roll is loaded with the wrong side facing the print head. Remove the roll, flip it over, and reload. The thermal (slightly shiny) side must face the print head.
• Faded or light printing: Clean the print head with a thermal cleaning card. If printing remains faint with a fresh roll, the print head may need professional service.
• Paper cover won't close: The roll diameter is too large for the compartment. The V660p accepts rolls up to 1.5" (40mm) outer diameter. Verify you are using 2 1/4" x 50' rolls, not longer rolls meant for countertop terminals.
