Direct-fit thermal paper rolls for the VeriFone V660p payment terminal. Each roll is manufactured in the United States using BPA-free and BPS-free thermal coating. The red end-of-roll indicator gives you advance warning before the paper runs out, preventing mid-transaction interruptions.

▶ How to Load Paper in the VeriFone V660p

1. Locate the paper compartment release on the V660p (top or rear of terminal depending on model orientation)
2. Open the paper cover
3. Remove the old roll core or any remaining paper
4. Place the new roll into the compartment with the paper feeding from the bottom of the roll (thermal side facing up)
5. Pull a few inches of paper past the tear bar
6. Close the cover firmly until it clicks
7. The terminal should print a short test line confirming the paper is loaded correctly

If the receipt prints blank, the roll is loaded backwards. Flip it over so the thermal (shiny) side faces the print head.

▶ Storage and Handling

Store thermal paper in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and fluorescent lighting. Avoid contact with plastics (PVC binders, plastic bags), solvents, and hand sanitizer - these can cause discoloration or fading.

Properly stored thermal paper has a 5+ year shelf life before use. Printed receipts retain legibility for 7+ years under proper storage conditions.

Ideal storage: 65-75 degrees F, below 65% relative humidity, in the original box.

▶ Troubleshooting

• Blank receipts printing? The roll is loaded upside down. Remove the roll and flip it so the thermal (slightly shiny) side faces the print head. The paper should feed from the bottom of the roll.
• Paper jamming? Check that you are using the correct width (2 1/4"). Ensure no torn paper fragments are stuck in the print mechanism. Verify the roll diameter fits the compartment.
• Faded or light printing? The print head may need cleaning. Use a thermal print head cleaning card. If the problem persists with a new roll, the print head may need replacement.
• Red stripe appearing on receipts? This is normal. The red stripe is the end-of-roll indicator warning you that approximately 3-4 feet of paper remain. Replace the roll soon.
• Paper curling excessively? This can happen with very old paper or paper stored in high humidity. Try a fresh roll from sealed packaging.
