Description
Epson TM Receipt Printer Paper: 3 1/8 x 230 ft Thermal Rolls, BPA-Free and Made in the USA
Epson TM receipt printers take 3 1/8 in (80mm) wide thermal paper on a roll no bigger than 83mm across. Our 230 ft rolls measure 2.75 in (70mm) across on a 1/2 in core, which leaves room in the paper bay of every TM-T88, TM-T20, TM-m30, TM-T70, TM-m50 and EU-m30. Set the roll in, shut the cover and the next ticket prints.
There is no ink or ribbon to replace, and the image comes out dark and clean across the full width of the ticket.
Key Features
- ✅ 2.75 in (70mm) roll diameter, well under Epson's 83mm maximum, so the cover shuts flat
- ✅ Full 3 1/8 in (80mm) width matches the printer's 80mm setting, so receipts track straight in the guides
- ✅ 230 ft per roll, enough for roughly 250 long itemized receipts or 450 short card slips
- ✅ End-of-roll indicator warns staff to change paper before a roll runs out at the counter
- ✅ The same roll ships in every pack size, from 6 rolls to a 50-roll case
- ✅ BPA-free coating, made in the United States

▶ Which Epson Printers Take This Paper
Each printer below runs 3 1/8 in (80mm) thermal paper on a roll up to 83mm across, according to Epson's own specifications. Where a model has its own page, the link leads to loading steps written for that printer.
• TM-T88 series: TM-T88IV, TM-T88V, TM-T88VI, TM-T88VII. See Epson TM-T88V Thermal Paper Rolls.
• TM-T20 series: TM-T20II, TM-T20III. See Epson TM-T20II Thermal Paper Rolls.
• TM-m30 series: TM-m30, TM-m30II, TM-m30III. See Epson TM-m30 Thermal Paper Rolls.
• TM-T70 series: TM-T70II. See Epson TM-T70II Thermal Paper Rolls.
• TM-H6000V receipt station. See Epson TM-H6000V Thermal Paper Rolls.

▶ Will a Different Roll Size Work?
✅ This roll, 3 1/8 in x 230 ft: 70mm across, leaving 13mm to spare under Epson's limit.
❌ Any roll bigger than 83mm (3.27 in) in diameter: too large for the paper bay, and the cover won't latch.
❌ 2 1/4 in (58mm) paper: works only with Epson's 58mm guide fitted and the printer switched to 58mm width.
❌ 3 in bond or two-ply paper: that stock is made for impact (dot matrix) printers and has no thermal coating to print on.
▶ Loading a New Roll
- Lift the roll paper cover.
- Remove the empty core from the bay.
- Place the new roll so the loose end unwinds from underneath.
- Draw a short length of paper out past the cutter, then shut the cover. On many models the printer trims the first edge on its own.
Tip: paper feeding out with nothing on it is the sign of a reversed roll. Turn it around so the paper unwinds from underneath.
▶ How Many Rolls Should You Order?
Figure on about 250 long itemized receipts, or about 450 short card slips, from each 230 ft roll.
• 6 rolls: a single printer with light daily use.
• 12 or 18 rolls: one register running steadily, with spares on hand between orders.
• 24 rolls: a high-volume register, or two printers drawing from the same supply.
• Case of 50: the cheapest per-roll price, sized for multiple registers or stores.
▶ Fixing Blank, Faint or Jammed Receipts
• Blank receipt: the roll is reversed. See the loading tip above.
• Pale or washed-out printing: either the roll isn't thermal paper, or it spent time in a hot stockroom or vehicle.
• Jam right after loading: the roll sat crooked in the bay. Open the cover, square the roll up and feed it again. Ease stuck paper out rather than pulling hard.
▶ Why American-Made Paper Matters
When a receipt printer acts up, the paper is the usual suspect: a roll wound too fat for the bay, a coating that prints pale, a core that catches. Ours are produced in the United States to a single spec, so a roll from this month's case measures and prints like one from last year's.
▶ Storing Spare Rolls
Thermal paper reacts to heat and light, so keep spares in their packaging, out of direct sun and away from heaters or warm storerooms. Kept at room temperature, a sealed roll will still print fully dark five years from now.
