Description
Bond Paper Rolls for Square Kitchen Printer — Premium Single Ply White for Star Micronics SP742ME
Keep your Square Kitchen Printer producing crisp, clear kitchen orders with every ticket. These premium single-ply bond paper rolls measure 3" x 165' and are engineered for a guaranteed perfect fit in your Star Micronics SP742ME Ethernet Kitchen Printer (SP700 Series), the impact printer sold by Square for kitchen order management.
At TerminalDepot, we are proud to only carry American-made paper rolls so you can be assured of the highest quality with every order. Don't be fooled by cheap imported knockoff paper that may contain inconsistent paper stock, excessive lint, and poor print quality.
Why Choose TerminalDepot Bond Paper?
- ✅ Guaranteed Square Kitchen Printer Fit: Precision-sized 3" width with 1/2" core. Designed and tested specifically for the Star Micronics SP742ME impact printer sold by Square as their Kitchen Printer. Feeds smoothly every time — no jams, no misfeeds during your busiest rush.
- ✅ Premium Lint-Free Bond Paper: Our bond paper is manufactured to be lint-free, which is critical for impact printers. Lint buildup from cheap paper can clog your print head and degrade print quality over time. Our paper keeps your SP742ME running clean and printing sharp, dark text.
- ✅ 165 Feet Per Roll — Maximum Length: At 165 feet per roll, you get significantly more kitchen tickets per roll compared to shorter bond rolls. Fewer roll changes means less interruption during busy kitchen service.
- ✅ Single Ply — Ideal for Kitchen Orders: When you only need one copy of each kitchen ticket, single-ply bond paper is the most economical choice. Crisp, dark printing that's easy for kitchen staff to read in fast-paced environments. If you need duplicate copies, see our 2-Ply Carbonless Rolls or 3-Ply Carbonless Rolls.
- ✅ American Made Quality: Every roll is manufactured in the USA to the highest standards. Bright white paper with clean edges, consistent roll tension, and uniform diameter. No short rolls, no thin paper, no faded printing.
- ✅ Crisp, Clear Kitchen Order Prints: Our bond paper produces sharp, dark text through the SP742ME's impact print head and ink ribbon. Order details, modifiers, and special instructions are clearly legible, critical when accuracy matters in a busy kitchen.

⚠️ Important: This Printer Uses Bond Paper, NOT Thermal
The Square Kitchen Printer (Star Micronics SP742ME) is an impact/dot matrix printer, it prints by striking an ink ribbon against the paper, just like a typewriter. This means:
- You MUST use bond or carbonless paper — NOT thermal paper [[4]]
- You MUST have an ink ribbon installed — the ribbon creates the printed image, not heat
- If your prints are fading, you need a new ink ribbon, not different paper
- Thermal paper (the shiny, slippery kind) will NOT work in this printer, it will feed through but print nothing
Need an ink ribbon? The SP742ME uses the Star Micronics RC-700B ribbon cartridge.
